Penfield Volunteer Firefighters Install Smoke Detectors

Over the weekend Penfield Volunteer Firefighters installed smoke detectors throughout  the mobile home community as part of the remembrance of Tyler Doohan and in conjunction with the change your clocks change your smoke detectors program.  Penfield Firefighters were joined with firefighters from several surrounding departments such as East Rochester, Brighton, and Fishers and assisted with passing out detectors.  Batteries were donated by Senator  Ted O'Brien.

We'd like to thanks all that participated and a special thanks to all the smoke detector companies (First Alert and Kiddie)  whom donated  several packages of detectors in the wake of the Fondiller Ave fire that has claimed four.
