| If you are interested in becoming a member of the Penfield Fire Company,
please feel free to contact us! To become a member you must be a resident
of the Penfield Fire District. You must be 18 years of age, and
willing to be subjected to a criminal background check. You must complete
Essentials of Firefighting with in one year of joining. Essentials of
Firefighting is a class offered by the Monroe County Fire Bureau. The classes
are 13 weeks long, two nights/week, paid for by the Penfield Fire Company.
You must attend 50% of all training drills your first year. You must attend 20 %
of all activities.
