Penfield volunteers were called out yesterday (8/5/15) at twenty after 1pm  for a car accident on Penfield Rd at Meadow View Drive.  On scene firefighters found a two car crash with one vehicle on its side with a person trapped inside.  Once the vehicle was stabilized with cribbing firefighters used the jaws of life and an electric saw to cut the roof off to gain access to the occupant.  Once freed the occupant was taken to the hospital by the ambulance.
